Meine künstlerischen Projekte erforschen die Choreografie des Alltags in urbanen Räumen: Wie wirkt sich die urbane Situation auf das Individuum aus und umgekehrt? Unsere Städte wachsen und verändern sich kontinuierlich: Es wird entmietet, gebaut, luxussaniert: Wer profitiert? Wer sind die Verlierer? Wer kann die Mieten noch bezahlen?

Das Video „Baustelle“ ist eine Arbeit zur Gentrifizierung und Verdichtung unseres Stadt- und Lebensraums. Es thematisiert die Verdichtung unseres Stadt- und Lebensraums. „Die Städte werden enger, der Raum begrenzter.

Das Video besteht aus animierten Einzelfotografien unzähliger Kräne, Zeichen der zunehmenden Anzahl an Baustellen, die überall in den Städten aus dem Boden wachsen. Kräne, Sinnbild für Prozess und Konstruktion, prägen seit einigen Jahren das Stadtbild.

Das Video ist unterlegt mit einer Toncollage aus Klängen von Baustellen-geräuschen, Straßenlärm und treibenden Beats.

My artistic projects explore the choreography of everyday life in urban spaces: how does the urban situation affect the individual and vice versa? Our cities are growing and changing continuously: Tenants are thrown out, buildings are luxury renovated. Who benefits? Who are the losers? Who can still pay the rents?

The video „Baustelle“ is a work about gentrification and consolidation of our cities. It focuses on the densification of our urban and living space. „The cities are becoming narrower, the space more limited.

The video consists of animated single photographs of countless cranes, signs of the increasing number of construction sites that are springing up all over the city. Cranes, symbol of process and construction, have shaped the cityscape for several years.

The video is underlain with a sound collage of sounds of construction site noise, street noise and driving beats.
