„My future“ aus der Serie „Die blauen Reiter“

In meiner Arbeit „Die blauen Reiter“ habe ich Pferde porträtiert, die als Rennpferde ihren Einsatz hatten, wie zum Beispiel das abgebildete Pferd „My future“. Die Kurztexte beziehen sich auf Kommentare aus dem Pferderennen.
Das Pferd erscheint als Projektionsfigur für Sehnsüchte und Träume, es ist ein Bild von Schönheit, Kraft, Dynamik und Eleganz. Es ist eine Metapher für Ursprünglichkeit und Freiheit. Nicht zuletzt wird im Mythos Pferd das Verhältnis der Menschen zum Pferd deutlich und damit auch die sich im Laufe der Geschichte verändernde Wertschätzung des Tieres.

In my work „The Blue Riders“ I portrayed horses that were used as racehorses, such as the horse „My future“. The short texts refer to comments from the horse race.
The horse appears as a projection figure for longings and dreams; it is an image of beauty, strength, dynamism and elegance. It is a metaphor for originality and freedom. Last but not least, the myth of the horse reveals the relationship of humans to the horse and thus also the changing appreciation of the animal throughout history.
